The decree for the assignment to Autolinee Toscane spa of the single regional tender for the tpl service on rubber throughout Tuscany was published today.
(ANSA) – FLORENCE, 3 MAY - The decree for the assignment to Autolinee Toscane spa, a company of the French Ratp group, of the single regional tender for the road transport service throughout Tuscany has been published today.
The Region, explains a note, has decreed the assignment of the service in compliance with and in implementation of the ruling of the European Court of Justice of last March 21, as well as in implementation of the agreement signed by the Region, At and Mobit (consortium competing in the tender) in December 2017, coinciding with the signing of the two-year bridge contract, in force until December 31, 2019, which entrusted the management of the public transport service on a transitional basis.
A dispute is still pending before the administrative justice: the hearing of the Council of State is scheduled for October. The tender basis for local public transport by road in Tuscany is equal to 2.77 billion euros for 11 years of service. To this must be added approximately 190 million for the purchase of new vehicles. The overall value of the tender, with revenues from tickets and season tickets, is approximately 4 billion.
